Opened to visitors in 2020, the Águas Lindas e Canjica complex sits on Kalunga land, about 75 km from Cavalcante by dirt road. The trail strings together a run of pools and falls: Poço das Pedras, Poço das Águas Lindas, the canyon of the same name, an infinity pool hanging over the valley and, at the end, Canjica falls. The water is crystal clear, somewhere between blue and emerald green. The walk is long enough that few people make it, so the pools are usually empty.
- Guide required. Go with a Kalunga guide, booked through the CAT visitor center in Cavalcante. Expect around R$ 250 per group for the day.
- Best in the dry season, April to October, when the water is at its clearest. From November to March there's a flash-flood risk and the water turns murky.
