Complexo Barroco — Fazenda Barroco
A sequence of waterfalls on the Rio das Almas at Fazenda Barroco, ~21 km from central Cavalcante. Raised iron-and-wood walkways lead from the parking area to the first pools (an accessible stretch), and the trail continues uphill to the 3rd and 4th falls; the ticket also includes the Cachoeira Mundo Novo, reached by its own ~2.5 km trail. The property holds 7 to 9 falls in total. Closed for 400+ days in the pandemic, it reopened in June 2021 and has since gained the new walkway infrastructure and online ticket sales.

11 km of pavement on the GO-241 (toward Teresina de Goiás) to the gate + ~10 km of easy dirt road to the reception — a regular car makes it; free parking. The sales page says 13 km from the center, but local guides and the town hall converge on ~20–21 km.
Approximate pin — confirm access with a local guide before driving out there.
The trail
The first ~200 m on a railed walkway (older visitors, kids, and wheelchair users can reach the 1st pool); after that, short stretches with climbs and scrambles to the 3rd and 4th falls (0.4–1.2 km of trail). Cachoeira Mundo Novo: a signposted trail of ~2.5 km each way, moderate.
