It sits on Cavalcante's Kalunga land, out toward Vão dos Órfãos / Catingueiro, and — by local accounts — is tracked by the National Park as part of opening the northern entrance through Cavalcante (the same effort as the Santana and Borda Infinita falls, north of town). Opening depends on land regularization, access infrastructure and technical review — no date. Location and details still to be confirmed with local guides and ICMBio.
Cachoeira do Roncador
A waterfall on Cavalcante's Kalunga land, out toward Vão dos Órfãos / Catingueiro (the rio Claro valley). Not yet open to visitors: by local accounts it's an area being tracked by the National Park as part of the northern-entrance expansion through Cavalcante — the same push that already took in the Santana and Borda Infinita falls — with a visit expected in the future. Like the other Kalunga falls, access should be on foot and with a community guide. Location and details still to be confirmed.
