Poço Xamânico

Verified

A natural pool of crystal-clear water for swimming at Reserva Renascer in Cavalcante — the same property as the Cachoeira Ponte de Pedra, but a separate attraction. It sits at the passage of the Rio São Bartolomeu's spring, which surfaces within the reserve, pairing the mysticism of the name with the silence of a headwaters spot. Unlike the waterfall's long trek, it's reached by short, easy trails (about 650 m round trip from one parking area, or just 250 m from the other). Entry through the same gate as the Cachoeira Ponte de Pedra, at KM 9 of the dirt road from Cavalcante toward Colinas do Sul (~9 km from the center), plus a few more kilometers driving within the reserve. Bookings with Reserva Renascer.

The same entrance as the Cachoeira Ponte de Pedra: KM 9 of the dirt road from Cavalcante toward Colinas do Sul; within Reserva Renascer, another ~2.5 km driving to the pool's parking area. A regular car can make it — the reserve is improving the rough stretches of road.

The route leads to the parking area, where the trail begins — the map pin marks the attraction itself, a short walk from there.
