Cachoeira Lago Azul — Vale do Vai Quem Quer
Deep in the Vale do Vai Quem Quer, in Taquaruçu, the Lago Azul is a low, low-volume fall that forms a deep pool of crystal-clear water in a striking blue tone among the rocks. Access is at the end of the valley's dirt road, down a steep staircase to the pool. It's the "blue water" that gives the place its fame, cold and deep — watch out for kids.
- Best in the dry season (May to September): the pool turns blue and crystal clear. In the rains the water muddies and there's a natural flash-flood risk. Open roughly 8am/9am to 5pm.
