Lagoa da Serra
A body of water some 300 by 600 meters, of crystal-clear turquoise-blue water over white sand, with the Serra Geral in the background — the postcard of the Serras Gerais and the reason the region is called the 'Caribbean of the Cerrado.' The lagoon is fed by upwelling groundwater, is about 2 m deep on average, and lies within the bounds of the Estação Ecológica Serra Geral do Tocantins. Good for swimming, stand-up paddle, and watching the sunset.
- Best in the dry season, July to September (July is the peak, ~3,000 visitors/month). The water level varies with the rains; the dirt stretch gets worse in the rainy season.

The trail
No real trail: you park at the farm and walk down a few meters to the shore. There are wooden kiosks, a camping area, and a snack bar at the lagoon's edge.
