Rio Azuis — o menor rio do Brasil
The shortest river in Brazil and Latin America (about 147 meters), recognized by Guinness, in the Azuis village, in Aurora do Tocantins. The water is so transparent you can see every blue-green pebble on the bed, with Caribbean-level visibility and a pleasant temperature year-round. It's the most famous crystal-clear attraction in this corner of the Serras Gerais, on the Arraias and Combinado route.
- Best in the dry season (May to September), when the water is clearer and the dirt road is firm. Go on a weekday and early to avoid crowds.
