Praia do Pequizeiro
A little river beach tucked away in the district of Lavandeira, in Aurora do Tocantins, within the Serras Gerais. It forms a stretch of crystal-clear water in emerald-green and blue tones, with a band of white sand and a shallow bottom good for swimming — calm and still lightly visited. It sits on a private farm: for a long time access depended on an accredited guide to fetch the gate key; today it charges entry and has basic facilities (restaurant, camping).
- Time on site limited to 480 min.
- Best in the dry season (June to September), when the river drops, the water clears, and the sand band appears. Open during business hours (approx. 9am to 5pm). Access via a dirt road that's bad in the rainy season.

The trail
The beach is practically at the farm parking area; a very short walk to the water. The challenge is the access road, not the trail.
