Praia do Puçá
A private river beach in rural Lavandeira (TO), in the heart of the Serras Gerais — not in the Kalunga region of Cavalcante, as the name might suggest. The Rio Ribeirão forms a shallow stretch of white sand and clear emerald-green water, with good pools for swimming. It's a structured day-use spot (restaurant, hot-water bathrooms, hammocks by the water, camping, and a sunset deck), accessed via the town of Aurora do Tocantins.
- High season May to October (dry), when the water reaches maximum clarity. Open 7am–6pm. Day use usually R$30/person (recent reports of R$40); camping around R$60–80. Packed at lunch on holidays.
